WHY WE DO IT

We love what we do and can’t wait to share it with you

Our brand draws its inspiration from a personal experience of loss, the untimely loss of Kaitlin’s oldest sibling, Brooks, 36, due to complications with COVID in 2021. Brooks was a true adventurer, encapsulating a deep love for travel, art, history, culture, and nature. It is his legacy that inspires our passion for creating memorable experiences through the beauty of flowers.

Brooks Floral is a blend of artistry and healing, where flowers are a medium to inspire creativity, promote emotional well-being, create meaningful connections, and symbolize life’s precious moments.

Owner and head designer, Kaitlin Austin,  is known for her use of color, focus on selecting local-fresh flowers, and signature effortless, dreamy style. Each design welcomes you into a colorful world of floral fun and inspiration.

Kaitlin's childhood was filled with summers spent in her Grandma “Jeanie Bird’s” flower garden, where she immersed herself in the sights, textures, scents, and flavors (lesson learned) of nature. With an expansive imagination, flowers became her ultimate outlet for creativity.

Flowers hold a very special place in Kaitlin's heart. Honoring the cherished memories of her Grandma and late brother Brooks, Kaitlin imbues a playful spirit and authenticity into creating lasting connections with clients.

Kaitlin brings over a decade of experience in the wedding and event planning industry, now channeling her expertise into the art of floral design. Many of her favorite designs and floral creations are often guided by intuition and spontaneous inspirations that are delightful and dreamy.

She enjoys traveling the world, hosting dinner parties, culinary adventures, gardening, interior design projects, and sipping champagne with flowery daydreams. Kaitlin and her husband welcomed their first flower boy in November!
